Oki Delivers CTstage(R) 4i for .NET to Yashili

China's Major Food Manufacturer achieves One-to-One Marketing by CRM Collaboration

Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (TSE: 6703) today announced that Guandong Yashili Group Co., Ltd., one of China's largest food manufacturer, selected Oki's CTI server, CTstage(R) 4i for .NET, for its contact center system. Oki's local subsidiary OKI Software Technology Co., Ltd. received the order and installed the system to Yashili, starting operation from mid- February 2005.

"The system we provide Yashili is an UnPBX model that collaborates with their CRM system. Oki's CTstage 4i, with excellent computer compatibility and it's easiness to link with various CRM systems, is an ideal fit for Yashili, as they look to enhance their customer relations," said Masashi Tsuboi, President of the Multimedia Messaging Company at Oki Electric.

Yashili is one of the largest food producers in China, manufacturing and selling beverages and healthy nutrition food. Because of its commitment to ensure product quality and improve customer support, Yashili has been a leader in the food industry in customer satisfaction. Yashili holds a vast amount of database information including customer data, and had been challenged to effectively utilize the data for customer relations. As a result, Yashili linked its various database with Oki's call center system to improve the quality of its call center operations.

In China, where the economy is growing rapidly, small and medium-size businesses, in addition to the conventional large corporations such as telecom, financial, securities and electric power, are demanding the use of CTI systems for telephone reception operation to improve their customer service and sales efficiency. Going forward, Oki aims to help these companies with their customer support and further deploy its call center system.
